Wholesaling is a fascinating part of real estate that not many people are very knowledgeable in. You can make huge profits wholesaling and you don't need any money to start.
The undisputed online real estate wholesaling champ is @therealmaxwellaka Max Maxwell. Max is as big as it gets when it comes to teaching about wholesaling. He has built an online community of over 400,000 people across all platforms. Outside of social media, he runs a business empire that will gross over $7,000,000 this year. He's on top, but his journey to prominence wasn’t a straight line up.
He was diagnosed with dyslexia in 11th grade. Shortly after that he joined the Air Force where he served four years of active duty.
After coming home from the military, he tried his hand at several careers as he was getting adjusted back to civilian life. First, he became a real estate agent, then a bounty hunter, then worked in marketing, then ran a restaurant, and also created an app that failed. The app-venture was a blow that forced him to regroup. It drained all of his savings and forced him to move back with his mother at the age of 30.
It was a humbling experience but it gave him time to re-evaluate what he wanted out of life. Three years ago he hit a financial low when his bank account was overdrawn by $438. Shortly after that, he was introduced to real-estate wholesaling from a childhood friend's dad.
Once he found out about wholesaling, he became obsessed with it and dove headfirst into educating himself on it. He put together a game plan and literally hit the ground running, knocking on doors and cold calling for deals.
Today he currently employs 18 people and just closed on 8,000 square feet of office space. He is a serial entrepreneur and operates several businesses, but wholesaling is what got him off the ground and has remained a major focus in his business plan.
