In 2006, @quianawatson_moved to Atlanta from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Being new in the city wasn't easy and despite having an MBA, she was only able to find work as a telemarketer. Long days of calling strangers took its toll on her. After a stressful day at work, she went to a local bar to relax.
That trip to the bar changed her life. Shortly after she arrived, she noticed a group of women that walked in. The women were all dressed immaculate and carried themselves with extreme confidence. Quiana said every one of them had a boss aura to them. She was intrigued and wanted to know what they did for a living. She started a conversation with one of the women and when she asked what line of work they were in, she told her that they were all realtors for an all-women real estate firm.
Quiana was so inspired by the ladies that she decided to get her realtor license. In 2007, she became a full-time agent with the firm. She moved up fast within the ranks and established a name for herself in the Atlanta real estate community.
After realizing that she could grow at a faster pace with her own team, she became her own boss and opened her firm, Quiana Watson & Associates. She now has her own team of female realtors which include team members @kiarajroberts and @breeismyrealtor. Her run-in with the ladies at the bar years ago has now come full circle, as she has built an all-women real estate force in Atlanta.
Today, Quiana stands at the elite level of realtors. She is a top 5% producing realtor in the Metro Atlanta area and currently has listings as high as $21,000,000.
In episode 66 of @earnyourleisure, Quiana covered a wide range of topics. She gave tips for home sellers and buyers, she gave insight on the inner workings of being a realtor, she spoke about her business model for selling homes and she gave detailed information on the hottest home appreciation areas in and around Atlanta.
